Purple Stripped Jellyfish Digestive System
Like all jellyfish, the purple stripped jellyfish has a similar digestive system. The only difference that the purple stripped jelly hunts its food at night. It does this because it doesn't have long enough tentacles to catch fast moving fish during the day. Therefore it developed an even stronger venom that will instantly kill small fish and could possibly kill humans. First it seeks out its prey. After sulking around, it targets and immobilizes the victim and drags it into its mouth. Here it is transferred to the gastrovascular cavity where special enzymes eradicate the poison in the food and then slowly break it down. After it is completely broken down, it is ejected from the mouth.
