The shark digestive system is very similar to other sharks. They all use their mouth, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, liver, intestine, gall bladder, kidney, and anus.
- The shark takes a bite out of its prey or swallows it whole with its Mouth
- The Pharynx moves the food from the mouth to the Esophagus
- The Esophagus moves the food from the Pharynx to the Stomach
- The Stomach digests the food and the Liver stores all fatty reserves and energy
- The Intestines are spiral shaped to increase surface area for digestion
- The Gal Bladder stores the bile from the Liver
- The Kidney then extracts urea from the urine of the shark and returns it to the blood
- Lastly, the Anus then gets rid of the waste in the shark
